We have been told quite often at this stage by many of the politicians and education officials we have spoken with that the department of education is under pressure to open schools in the developing areas. Is this perhaps just another example of the department chasing the news rather than planning to meet real needs? Are the actual, demonstrable needs of the students of Gaelscoileanna we have identified for the proposed Gaelchol谩iste Dheisceart 脕tha Cliath somehow less important than the supposed need of students in these new schools?
